A sourcebook of biodiversity monitoring for REDD+

This manual provides information on why biodiversity might be monitored for REDD+, how national governments might undertake this, what indicators might be used and also how the results might be shared. It provides information from five different case studies in Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil, the Philippines and Madagascar of how some countries are developing frameworks for biodiversity monitoring. It provides an short analysis of the challenges and oppurtunities of participatory monitoring for biodiversity monitoring for REDD+.
