Trading Bows and Arrows for Laptops: Surui Forest Carbon Project

The Surui indigenous people in the Brazilian Amazon are using Android devices and Open Data Kit to monitor and measure the amount of carbon in their rainforest. These carbon credits they can sell on the voluntary carbon marketplace. This short film introduces the project, which is a collaboration between the Surui people and Google Earth Outreach.
