The International Indigenous Peoples Forum on Climate Change (IIFPCC) is the representative body of indigenous peoples participating in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Formed in 2000, it brings together indigenous peoples organizations/institutions Asia, Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Arctic, Latin America, North America and Russia. The IIFPCC undertakes advocacy and lobbying work to ensure that Indigenous peoples’ rights are respected within the climate change agreements.
