New Paper: Demonstrating 'Respect' for the UNFCCC REDD+ Safeguards: The Importance of Community-Collected Information

The Global Canopy Programme launched a new analytical paper at the UN climate negotiations in Bonn, Germany, called Demonstrating 'Respect' for the UNFCCC REDD+ Safeguards: The Importance of Community-Collected Information.


The paper explores the importance of participation by local and indigenous forest communities in gathering information to help assess the extent to which the UNFCCC REDD+ safeguards have been respected.
