Pact is an international NGO based in Washington, DC. It works with partners across the world in the areas of health, livelihoods and natural resource management. It aims to customise its approach to each community it works with. Its local partners (such as village governments, community groups, schools and citizen volunteers) tap into Pact’s technical expertise to develop their own solutions.
Pact's work on natural resources aims to support communities to make their own resource management decisions, including by supporting community forest management and REDD+ in Cambodia. They aim to link conservation to livelihoods and governance, and help communities gain the skills they need to better manage and sustainably use their natural resources.
